New England Women's Amateur Championship

Haverhill, MA LocationThe New England Women's Amateur Championship is organized by the New England Golf Association (NEGA). The event is held at Haverhill Country Club in Haverhill, Massachusetts, and typically spans three days of competition from June 24 to 26. The championship consists of 45 holes of stroke play with two divisions: the Overall Championship Division for players with a handicap index of 10.0 or less and the Senior Championship Division for players aged 50 and older with a handicap index of 18.0 or less. The field is cut to the low 50 players (and ties) after 36 holes, with players competing from tee sets appropriate to their division. The tournament awards prizes to the best gross players in the Championship Division and both gross and net players in the Senior Division.
