Description

The Nepal Amateur Open is an annual 54-hole stroke play golf tournament organized by the Nepal Golf Association. The 11th edition in 2025 was held at the par-72 Gokarna Golf Club in Kathmandu from May 29-31. It attracts top amateur golfers from Nepal and across South Asia, including players from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. Participation typically involves around 60-65 players competing individually and in teams, with the team event contested over 36 holes. The tournament serves as a prestigious platform for showcasing rising amateur golf talent in the region.
