The Nemacolin Junior Championship is a 54-hole stroke play AJGA tournament held at Nemacolin Resort - Mystic Rock Course in Farmington, Pennsylvania. The 2025 event is scheduled for July 20-23 and features a field of 96 boys and girls ages 12 to 19, with a 36-hole cut. The course plays to a par 72 with slope ratings of approximately 74.1 for boys and about 74.4 for girls on the same challenging layout. Yardages are around 7,000 yards for boys and slightly less for girls. Entry exemptions for boys require tiers of AJGA Performance Stars, starting with the top 3 fully exempt, then top 10 needing 12 stars, top 15 8 stars, top 25 4 stars, and 2 stars needed to make the cut. Girls have similar exemption tiers, with the top 3 fully exempt and top 5 requiring 12 stars. Official practice rounds are scheduled with assigned tee times and practice facilities monitored. Player registration is mandatory, managed at the Horizon Point Banquet Hall. Players must use the Golf Genius app for scoring and leaderboard updates. Recent champions and attendees include juniors ranked in the AJGA Rolex Rankings and college commits, showcasing a highly competitive field. Qualifiers are held prior to the main event with 6 spots for boys and 3 for girls.
