Description

The NCGA Women's Amateur Championship is organized by the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA). The event is played annually over several days and combines stroke play qualifying rounds followed by match play. Typically, the championship starts with two rounds of stroke play to cut the field to the top 32 players who then compete in match play rounds culminating in an 18-hole final. The field size usually includes around 70 to 100 top female amateur golfers from Northern California who meet the NCGA membership and handicap qualifications.
