Description

The NCAA Rancho Santa Fe Regional is one of six regional tournaments that serve as qualifiers for the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship. The 2025 regional was held from May 12-14 at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California. The event features 14 teams and a handful of individual competitors who are not part of those teams. The tournament format consists of 54 holes of stroke play. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams qualify for the national championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, scheduled for May 23-28, 2025. The regional tournament brings together some of the best collegiate golfers nationally, offering fierce competition for advancement. Qualification for the regional is based on automatic conference champion bids and at-large selections determined by the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Committee. Around 81 teams are divided among the six regional sites. The event tests players’ skill and endurance over challenging course conditions at The Farms Golf Club, which plays at a par 70 over approximately 6,962 yards. Contact information for NCAA golf events is usually handled through the NCAA itself and the host university's athletic department.
