Description

The NCAA Division II Men's National Championship stroke play portion is played over 54 holes across three days with 20 teams and eight individual qualifiers competing. Each team fields five players, with the top four scores counting towards the team's total each round. After the completion of the 54 holes, the individual with the lowest aggregate score is crowned the individual national champion. The top eight teams based on stroke play totals advance to the match play bracket to compete for the team national championship. If necessary, a playoff determines the final team to enter match play in case of a tie for eighth place. The event is held annually at championship-level courses, with recent venues including PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
