Description

The NCAA Division II Central-Midwest Regional is a 54-hole stroke play golf tournament held over three days, typically in early May. The event is organized by the NCAA and hosted at St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Missouri. The field usually consists of approximately 108 competitors, including 20 teams (10 from the Central Region and 10 from the Midwest Region) along with individual qualifiers from these regions. The format has teams of five players with the top four scores counting each round. The top five teams and top two individuals not on advancing teams qualify for the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship, held later in May at a selected venue such as PGA National Resort in Florida. Teams qualify for the regional based on their conference success and NCAA rankings within the Central and Midwest regions.
