About
The National League Division 1 golf competition in 2025 refers to the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship, the premier collegiate golf event in the United States. The 2025 championship was played at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California from May 23 to 28. The format includes 54 holes of stroke play initially, with a cut after 54 holes to the top 15 teams and nine individuals. The leading teams then advance to match play to determine the team champion. The individual champion is crowned based on the lowest total score after 72 holes stroke play. The event features a field of 30 teams with five players each, plus individual qualifiers. Qualification is earned through regional tournaments and rankings. Oklahoma State University won the 2025 team championship, and sophomore Hiroshi Tai from Georgia Tech won the individual title.
