Description
Muthaiga Golf Club is located in the affluent suburb of Muthaiga, north of Nairobi, Kenya. Established originally as a 9-hole layout in 1913 and expanded to 18 holes by 1926, it is one of Kenya's pioneering courses and is renowned as the "Home of Golf in Kenya." The course features tree-lined parkland with undulating terrain, man-made lakes, and beautifully landscaped bunkers, designed by Peter Matkovich in a renovation completed in 2005. Muthaiga Golf Club has hosted the Kenyan Open multiple times, a tournament that has featured notable winners including Masters Champions. The club typically welcomes visitors with advance booking and offers caddies.
