Description

The Mike Schnarr Boys Championship is run by the Western Junior PGA and is considered a major boys-only junior golf event in the Midwest. Typically played over three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play, the tournament attracts around 100 junior male golfers, mainly aged 14–18. Entry is provided to active members of the Western Junior PGA and is prioritized according to season-long point standings, past performance, and order of registration; there is no open qualifying, but some discretionary invitations are awarded to highly ranked juniors or those with notable tournament success. The event is recognized for strong collegiate recruiting interest and competitive field strength.
