McCracken Sports Junior Championship (Boys)

The McCracken Sports Junior Championship presented by Paducah CVB is a 54-hole stroke play AJGA tournament held at the Country Club of Paducah in Paducah, Kentucky. The 2025 event runs July 13 to 17 with a field of 96 boys and girls ages 12 to 19, featuring a 36-hole cut. The course plays as a par 72, with boys playing approximately 6,906 yards and girls about 5,799 yards. Entry for boys requires Performance Stars tiers: top 3 fully exempt, top 10 require 12 stars, top 15 need 8 stars, top 25 require 4 stars, and 2 stars needed to make the cut if applicable. Girls have similar exemption tiers, with the top 3 fully exempt and the top 5 needing 12 stars. An 18-hole qualifier is held on July 13 at the same venue, offering 6 spots for boys and 2 for girls. Practice rounds are limited to 60 minutes per player and are supervised. Player registration is mandatory on July 14 at the cart staging area, with specific times for practice round participants and Junior-Am players. The tournament supports local charities including United Way of Western Kentucky, Oscar Cross Boys & Girls Club, and the AJGA Foundation through Junior-Am fundraisers.
