Malaysia International Junior Open (MIJO)

The Malaysia International Junior Open (MIJO) is a premier youth golf tournament hosted by the Malaysian Golf Association. The 2025 edition took place August 28–31 at Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort, Johor. MIJO welcomes junior golfers from Malaysia and internationally (usually ages 18 and under) and is divided into multiple age categories for boys and girls. The format is stroke play over several rounds, with a large and diverse field. MIJO provides World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points and is highly regarded for both its competitive quality and its role in fostering regional sporting friendships and exposure at the international level. The event hosts 350+ participants, making it one of Southeast Asia’s largest international junior events
