The Lytham Trophy 2025 is a premier amateur golf tournament held May 2-4 at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club in Lancashire, England. It is a 72-hole stroke play competition played over three days, with 18 holes on each of the first two days followed by a cut to the top 40 competitors plus ties. The leading players then contest a 36-hole final round on the last day. In the event of a tie for first place, a three-hole stroke play playoff is held on holes 1, 2, and 18, followed by sudden death if necessary. The tournament typically features 144 scratch golfers from across Europe and is known for its challenging par-70, 7,091-yard links course. Entry is restricted to male amateur golfers with a handicap index of scratch (0.4) or better. The event is organized by Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club and is classified as a Category A event by the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
