Louisiana Mid-Amateur Championship

The 33rd Louisiana Mid-Amateur Championship will be held August 8-10, 2025, at Bayou DeSiard Country Club in Monroe, Louisiana. The course is a par 72 playing approximately 6,900 yards and provides a challenge with its tree-lined fairways and championship-caliber greens. The tournament format includes three rounds of stroke play with a cut after 36 holes to the low 60 scores and ties for the final round. Entry Process: The championship is open to male amateur golfers aged 21 and above who meet the Louisiana Golf Association’s eligibility requirements, including a Handicap Index limit. There will be no local qualifying in 2025. Exempt players are given priority registration starting April 1, followed by open registration on May 1. Registration is first-come, first-served, and a spot will not be held if exempt players do not register before open registration begins.
