The 106th Louisiana Amateur Championship is scheduled for June 5-8, 2025, at Bayou Oaks at City Park South Course in New Orleans, Louisiana. The course will play as a par 72 at approximately 7,100 yards, providing a stern yet fair challenge for the state’s top amateur golfers. This championship is a centerpiece event for the Louisiana Golf Association (LGA) and offers the state’s amateurs an opportunity to compete for a prestigious title and gain an exemption into the 2025 U.S. Amateur Championship as part of the new qualifying structure. Entry Process: Registration for the Louisiana Amateur opens on February 1, 2025, with the entry deadline on May 6, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The tournament is open to amateur golfers who meet the Louisiana Golf Association eligibility requirements, including holding an active USGA Handicap Index.
