Description
The Lone Star Conference Championship is an NCAA Division II men's golf tournament held annually at the Rockwall Golf and Athletic Club in Rockwall, Texas. The championship format features 54 holes of stroke play, with 36 holes played on the first day and 18 holes on the second, followed by a medal match play playoff for the top four teams to determine the conference champion. Around 11 to 12 teams participate, representing member schools of the Lone Star Conference primarily located in Texas and surrounding states. Teams typically field five players, with the four best scores each day counting toward the team total. Qualification is automatic for conference members, as this championship determines the Lone Star Conference's automatic bid for the NCAA Division II regional championships.
