Kolon 66th Korea Open
About
The Kolon 66th Korea Open Golf Championship is a premier men's professional golf tournament held annually in South Korea. The 2025 edition took place from May 22 to May 25 at La Vie Est Belle Country Club's Dunes Course in Chuncheon. Organized by the Korean Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) and recognized as a major championship on the Korean Tour and Asian Tour, the event features 72 holes of stroke play over four rounds. Typically, about 150 players compete, including top Korean professionals and Asian Tour players. Qualification is based on KPGA and Asian Tour rankings, exemptions, and qualifying events. The total prize fund is approximately 1.4 billion South Korean won (around $1.2 million USD). The winner of the Korea Open also earns a place in The Open Championship, providing an important international opportunity
