The event draws a field of 96 boys and girls ages 12 to 19 and does not have a cut. Entry for the boys requires at least 36 AJGA Performance Stars for initial tournament field status; girls require 29 stars or more, with some gaining entry via Performance-Based Entry (PBE) tiebreakers. Players must confirm entry through the AJGA Player Center. Practice rounds are limited and monitored, with players receiving a 60-minute practice period on a practice range or putting/chipping green. Practice rounds are scheduled one week before the tournament. Player registration occurs on-site prior to play at the cart staging area. Players must use a smart device with the Golf Genius app for scoring. An 18-hole qualifier is conducted at Snohomish Golf Course offering spots for boys and girls. The tournament attracts strong junior golfers, including past AJGA champions and highly ranked juniors.
