Jimmy Self Invitational

The Jimmy Self Invitational is run by the South Carolina Junior Golf Association (SCJGA) and is recognized as one of the state’s four major junior championships. The event is played over three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play at the Arthur Hills Course at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort on Hilton Head Island, with separate divisions for boys and girls ages 13–19. The field typically features top junior competitors from the Southeast region, with about 100–150 participants. Entry is granted via registration for active SCJGA members and top-ranked juniors—priority is given to SCJGA regular participants and those with high finishes in previous events; there is no formal qualifying tournament for entry.
