Description

The Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate Invitational is a premier NCAA Division III women's golf event, hosted annually by Oglethorpe University. The 2025 tournament marked the 21st edition and, due to course renovations, was temporarily played at the King and Prince Resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia, rather than the traditional Indian Mound Course on Jekyll Island. Taking place March 21–23, the event features a 54-hole stroke play format over three days, with one round daily on a par-72 course measuring 5,601 yards. The Invitational draws a field of 24 teams from across 13 states, including top D-III programs such as Emory, Carnegie Mellon, Wellesley, NYU, Claremont Mudd-Scripps, Amherst, Randolph-Macon, Washington & Lee, Denison, and Christopher Newport. It is recognized for its strong national field and has become a focal point of the spring D-III schedule, anticipated to return to Jekyll Island’s Great Dunes Course when it reopens
