IWGA Match Play Championship

The IWGA Match Play Championship is organized by the Indiana Women's Golf Association (IWGA). The event begins with stroke play qualifying rounds over two days (36 holes) to determine the top 64 competitors who advance to the match play portion. The match play rounds then progress through single-elimination, culminating in a 36-hole championship match. Typically, the field includes around 64 of Indiana's top women amateurs who qualify based on their stroke play results. This championship features pure match play format after initial stroke play qualification, testing players in head-to-head competition.
