Irish Women's Close Championship

The Irish Women’s Close Championship is Ireland’s national match play championship for women amateurs, organized by Golf Ireland. The 2025 edition, sponsored by AIG, will take place July 29 to August 1 at Ardee Golf Club, Louth. The format is match play following an 18-hole stroke play qualifier, with the top 32 advancing to knockout matches. The field features Ireland’s best women amateurs, selected by handicap and entry order, with an average field size of 80–100 players.
