Description

The International Austrian Mid Am Championship is organized by the Austrian Golf Association and held at the prestigious Fontana Golf Club, just south of Vienna, Austria. The event is open to amateur golfers aged 25 and older, and features a 54-hole stroke play format (three rounds of 18 holes). The field is typically limited to around 68 players, including quotas for Austrian and international competitors, with entry based on handicap (up to 12.4 for men and 21.4 for women) and age criteria. Qualification occurs via written application before the entry deadline; oversubscription results in spots being allocated by lowest handicap, with a reserve list managed by the committee. The championship includes a cut after 36 holes, followed by a final round for the top players
