Inspirato Colorado Open

The Inspirato Colorado Open is one of the premier state open golf championships in the United States, hosted by the Colorado Open Golf Foundation. Over its 50-year history, it has earned a reputation for featuring top players, large purses, and excellent venues. Originally held at Hiwan Golf Club for 27 years, the tournament has rotated through prestigious courses such as Inverness Hotel & Golf Club, Saddlerock Golf Course, and Sonnenalp Golf Club. Since 2004, the Colorado Open has been held at the award-winning Green Valley Ranch Golf Club in Denver, a challenging public course that showcases Colorado’s high-altitude golf conditions. The event is a 72-hole stroke play format contested over four days and attracts a competitive field of both professional and amateur golfers from the Rocky Mountain region and beyond. It also supports charitable programs like the First Tee – Green Valley Ranch. Several notable PGA Tour professionals and regional stars have won the tournament, including Brandt Jobe and Jonathan Kaye.
