IMG JUNIOR WORLD QUALIFYING

IMG Junior World Qualifying tournaments are official regional events run by local golf associations and organizations worldwide to select competitors for the annual IMG Academy Junior World Championship in San Diego. These qualifiers are typically played over one to three rounds (18 to 54 holes) of stroke play, depending on location and age division, and fields often range from 80 to 150 junior golfers. Age divisions are separated for boys and girls (usually 7–18 years old) with the top finishers in each group earning entry into the championship field based on the number of spots allocated to each region. Any competitive junior within the qualifying region may register online for qualifying events, with entry on a first-come basis or determined by host association policies.
