The Illinois State Mid-Amateur Championship is an annual 54-hole stroke play golf tournament organized by the Chicago District Golf Association (CDGA) for amateur golfers aged 25 and older who reside in Illinois. It is typically held over two days, with the entire field playing 36 holes on the first day, after which the low 35 players and ties advance to an 18-hole final round to determine the champion. The championship usually features a field of over 80 of the top mid-amateurs from the state, with players qualifying through exemption criteria or a qualifying process. It is played at notable courses such as Inverness Golf Club in Inverness, Illinois. The tournament is recognized as one of the premier mid-amateur events in the state.
