Hungarian Mid Amateur Open Championship
About
The Hungarian Mid Amateur Open Championship is organized jointly by the Hungarian Golf Federation and the Hungarian Mid-Amateur Golf Association. The 2025 championship is scheduled for August 29 to 31, held at the Zala Springs Golf Resort in Zalacsány, Hungary. The format consists of three rounds (54 holes) of individual stroke play with a cut after 36 holes, reducing the field to a maximum of 72 players while maintaining the gender proportions from the starting field. Eligibility is limited to mid-amateur golfers aged 30 and above as of the event start date. The tournament follows R&A rules and local course rules and serves as an important event for mid-amateur players in Hungary and the region.
