The HMG Junior Championship is a 54-hole stroke play AJGA tournament held at Hesperia Golf & Country Club in Hesperia, California. The event features a field of 72 boys and girls ages 12 to 19, with the tournament played over three rounds on a par-72 course. The course yardage for boys is approximately 6,960 yards with a slope of 129, and for girls about 5,980 yards with a slope of 128. Entry into the tournament for the boys' initial field requires a status of 20 AJGA Performance Stars or more. One boy with 19 stars gained entry via Performance-Based Entry (PBE) tiebreaker. Girls require a minimum of 35 Performance Stars for initial entry. Players must confirm participation through the AJGA Player Center. The event includes an 18-hole qualifier held at Hesperia Golf & Country Club on the morning of the tournament start, giving players a chance to earn spots in the field.
