Hainan Open

The Hainan Open is a professional golf tournament held in Hainan, China, and has been part of various golf tours including PGA Tour China and the China Tour since 2014. Since 2017, it has been mainly played as part of the China Tour. The event is typically contested over four rounds of stroke play on a par-72 course, attracting around 120 to 150 professional golfers. The tournament features a cut after two rounds to determine which players advance to the final rounds. The event is organized by the Hainan Golf Association in partnership with international golf tours such as the Challenge Tour or HotelPlanner Tour. Players qualify through their official tour status and invitations.
