Greater San Antonio Men's Championship

San Antonio, TX LocationThe Greater San Antonio Men's Championship is a historic amateur golf tournament held annually, usually in July, featuring a strong field of local and regional amateur players. The 105th edition in 2025 was hosted at Cedar Creek Golf Course, one of San Antonio's top courses, with a stroke play format over multiple rounds. The championship has a deep legacy in the San Antonio golf community, showcasing top amateur talent from the city and surrounding areas. Past champions include Carson Gallaher, who won in 2025 with a final round 68 tying the course record. The tournament is now organized by the Alamo City Golf Trail (ACGT), which also manages other city championships. Events are held at various municipal courses including Brackenridge Park and Riverside Golf Course. Players compete for prize money and titles in multiple divisions.
