Greater Houston Senior City Amateur Championship

The Greater Houston Senior City Amateur Championship is organized by the Houston Golf Association and is held annually at Gus Wortham Golf Course in Houston, Texas. The event is open to male amateur golfers ages 55 and older with a current USGA Handicap Index of 15.4 or lower and at least six months’ permanent residency in the Greater Houston area (Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, Waller counties). Qualifying rounds are held at various locations, and players can attempt multiple qualifiers (space permitting). Exemptions exist for past champions, top finishers in previous years, select Texas statewide champions, and qualifiers for recent USGA senior championships.
