Grand Prix du Medoc

The Grand Prix du Médoc is administered by the Ligue de Golf de Nouvelle Aquitaine, in partnership with the French Golf Federation (FFGolf), and is held annually at Golf du Médoc Resort near Bordeaux, France. The event runs over three rounds (54 holes), using the stroke play format and welcomes amateur competitors from all age groups, with a typical field of 90 to 130 golfers including adult and junior divisions. Qualification depends on handicap-based entries with priority for top-ranked amateur golfers affiliated to French clubs, formal application through the French Golf Federation, and respect for event-specific cut-off dates for registration. The tournament is staged on the “Les Châteaux” course—recognised among the best in France—with results and additional information regularly updated on the federation’s and league’s official sites.
