Golfzon OPEN

The Golfzon OPEN is organized by GOLFZON, a golf technology company known for its indoor golf simulation. The event is team-based and features a mix of match play and stroke play formats. Usually, 24 teams compete, each consisting of four players. The competition begins with a round-robin stage where teams play five 18-hole matches in a 3 vs 3 aggregate strokes, hole-by-hole team match play format. The top two teams from each division advance to a Top 8 single-elimination bracket, continuing with the same match play format. If teams tie, a sudden-death stroke play tiebreaker is used. Qualification for the event involves participating in qualifying tournaments where individual players qualify to form teams; teams are also selected by GOLFZON for sponsorship exemptions. Participants must be 18 years or older. The event structure includes multiple rounds, combining team and individual play elements over weeks, focusing on aggregate stroke play and match play.
