Francis Ouimet Memorial Tournament

The Francis Ouimet Memorial Tournament is a prestigious 54-hole stroke play event organized by Mass Golf. It features an exempt-only field of top junior, amateur, mid-amateur, and senior players who are members of Mass Golf clubs. The tournament is contested over three rounds, with the first two rounds played at alternating venues and the final round held at Woodland Golf Club in Newton, Massachusetts. The event includes divisions such as the Championship Division, Women’s Division, and Lowery Division (senior 55+). Players qualify through merit in Mass Golf competitions and exemptions. Established in 1968 to honor the legacy of Francis Ouimet, a legendary American amateur golfer, the tournament also supports the Ouimet Scholarship Fund educating deserving young people.
