Description

The FM Global Championship presented by John D. Mineck Foundation is a 54-hole stroke play AJGA tournament held at Chicopee Country Club in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The event features a field size of 96 boys and girls ages 12 to 19, with a 36-hole cut reducing the field to the low 60% for the final round. The course plays to a par 71, about 6,391 yards for boys and 5,818 yards for girls. Entry requirements for the boys' initial field require at least 17 AJGA Performance Stars, with a few players admitted via Performance-Based Entry (PBE) tiebreakers with 16 stars. Girls must have at least 28 Performance Stars for initial entry. Players must confirm their participation via the AJGA Player Center. The tournament headquarters are located in the main clubhouse. Players are required to bring a smart device with internet capability to use the Golf Genius app for official scoring. There is an 18-hole qualifier event held prior to the championship offering spots for both boys and girls. The tournament attracts many past AJGA champions and college commits.
