Florida Open Championship
About
The Florida Open Championship is organized by the Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) and is open to both professional and amateur golfers. The tournament typically consists of 54 holes of individual gross stroke play, with players competing on two different courses before a cut to the lowest 60 players plus ties for the final round. The event usually takes place over three days in July, at notable Florida golf clubs like Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club or Quail West Golf & Country Club. Qualification is based on entry standards set by FSGA, including past performance and qualifying events, drawing a strong and competitive field of both amateurs and professionals.
