Florida Match Play Championship

The Florida Match Play Championship, organized by the Florida State Golf Association (FSGA), features a unique competitive format combining group round-robin match play followed by a single-elimination bracket. The championship starts with three rounds of group play, where players compete against each other in groups of four, earning points for wins and ties. The player with the most points in each group advances to a 16-player single-elimination bracket to compete for the title.
