Description

The Florida Legacy Cup is an elite amateur golf tournament held annually at the Champion Course at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The tournament usually takes place over three days with 54 holes of stroke play. The field mainly includes top collegiate and elite amateur golfers from the United States and abroad who qualify via invitation based on their competitive records. The tournament is organized by the founders of several prestigious amateur events including the Orlando International Amateur, Sunshine State Amateur, and Next Tee Invitational. The Champion Course, redesigned by Jack Nicklaus, is famous for hosting the PGA Tour's Honda Classic, providing a challenging and prestigious venue for the event
