Description

The Florida Junior Amateur Championship is a leading junior event in Florida, open to male amateur golfers aged 18 or younger (typically under 19 as of the first day). The tournament format is 54 holes of stroke play (three rounds). Entry criteria require Florida resident status, amateur standing, and a valid Florida GHIN Handicap Index® that meets the age-group cap. The Championship brings together a full field of Florida juniors competing for state honors, and it often serves as a stepping stone into college recruitment and national junior events.
