Description

The Florida Forty & Over Championship is a major senior amateur event in Florida, open to male amateur golfers aged 40 and above and Florida residents. The tournament is played as 54 holes of individual gross stroke play, across two championship courses. After the first two rounds (every player playing 18 holes on each course), the field is cut to the low 60 and ties for the final round. The field size is typically 156 players. Eligibility includes Florida residency, FSGA individual membership, and a valid Florida GHIN Handicap Index not exceeding 10.0 at the time of entry. Entry is prioritized on a first-received basis, with some reserved spots for past champions or high-ranking members.
