Description

The Florida Amateur Public Links Championship is an open amateur event aimed at players who compete primarily on public courses in Florida. The format is 54 holes of stroke play (three rounds) with no cut. Eligibility stipulates that players must be FSGA members, hold a Florida GHIN Handicap Index of 7.0 or less, and be bona fide “public‐links” golfers (i.e., not holding privileges at a private club) at the time of entry. For example, in the 2025 edition this was clearly stated in the entry criteria.
