Description

The FCG San Diego Junior Amateur is an elite junior golf tournament organized by Future Champions Golf (FCG) and traditionally held over winter break in San Diego, California. The event features both boys and girls divisions, with competitors grouped by age from 6 and under to 15–18. Players in the oldest divisions compete over 54 holes of stroke play, while younger divisions play 36 holes. The championship routinely attracts more than 550 top junior golfers from around the United States and internationally, making it one of the largest open junior events in the world. Entry is open to all competitive junior golfers ages 4–18 through first-come, first-served online registration, with a player resume required for pairing and division placement. There are no qualifying rounds. The FCG San Diego Junior Amateur provides significant opportunities for college coach visibility and serves as a qualifying event for exemptions into prestigious tournaments such as the FCG Callaway World Championship and IMG Junior World
