Description

The FCG International Junior Championship, organized by Future Champions Golf (FCG), is one of the largest open junior golf events worldwide, held annually in San Diego, California. The championship features boys and girls divisions for ages 6 and under up through 15–18, with each division playing either 36 or 54 holes of stroke play, depending on age (older age groups play 54). The field regularly exceeds 750 players from over 40 countries, making it a truly international competition. Entry is open to all junior golfers who meet minimum scoring requirements, on a first-come, first-served basis—there are no pre-qualifying rounds. Top performers in certain divisions earn exemptions into the following week’s IMG Academy Junior World Championship and into future FCG Elite Invitationals. The event is also notable for attracting substantial college coach attendance.
