Description

he FCG Callaway Collegiate World Championship is organized by Future Champions Golf (FCG) and is regarded as one of the largest and most international junior golf events in the world. The tournament is played over three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play, with a cut to the top 50% and ties after 36 holes. The event draws over 850 players representing more than 45 countries, with Boys and Girls 15–18 divisions playing on championship courses throughout Palm Desert, California. Entry is primarily through a qualifying process: there are more than 150 qualifying tournaments worldwide, including select FCG Tour events, partner tour qualifiers, and special exemptions for top finishers at past FCG World Championships or at-large invitations for exceptional players. Age groups range from 7–18, with each division competing on premier courses set up to appropriate yardages and conditions.
