Description

The European Nations Cup – Copa Sotogrande is a prestigious annual amateur golf tournament held at the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande in Spain. The 2025 edition takes place from March 26 to March 29. The event features national teams from across Europe, each composed of four players competing in a 72-hole stroke play format over four days, with the three best scores each day counting towards the team total. In case of a tie, a sudden-death playoff determines the winner. Established in 2001, this tournament is one of Europe's most respected amateur team events and regularly draws some of the continent's best emerging golf talent. The Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, designed by Robert Trent Jones and opened in 1964, is a world-class course known for its challenging layout and stunning Mediterranean scenery, making it an ideal venue for this high-level competition.
