Description
The English Women's Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship is England’s top women’s national stroke play event, organized by England Golf. The 2025 championship will take place from June 18–20, 2025, at Alwoodley Golf Club in Leeds. The format is 72 holes of stroke play over three days: a maximum of 144 competitors play 18 holes each day, with a cut after 36 holes for the top performers. Entry is open to elite amateur women, selected by handicap and entry order, and the event is recognized across Europe for its strong international field.
