The English Girls' Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship is England’s top U18 girls’ golf event, organized by England Golf and held in July at rotating high-profile venues—2025’s edition took place at Sherwood Forest Golf Club from July 22 to 24. Up to 144 of the best young amateur girls compete in stroke play: 18 holes on each of the first two days, with the top 40 and ties qualifying for 36 holes on the final day (total 72 holes). Entry is determined by handicap, national/international ranking, and direct application, and the event is international in scope and WAGR ranking-effective.
