The English Boys' Under 16 Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship, known as the McGregor Trophy, is organized by England Golf and is held annually at Radcliffe-On-Trent Golf Club in Nottinghamshire. The tournament features 72 holes of stroke play over three days, with a field of up to 144 of the best boys aged under 16 from England and abroad. After 36 holes, the top 40 players make the cut to play the remaining rounds. Competitors qualify through regional and national performances, adhering to age and handicap requirements to compete at this prestigious national championship.
