EGF Order of Merit Championship
About
The EGF Order of Merit Championship is an invitational amateur golf tournament organized by the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) in the United Arab Emirates. The tournament is played over 54 holes of stroke play across three days. It gathers the top amateur golfers based on their standings in the season-long EGF Order of Merit, with about 60 players competing in Men’s and Ladies’ Divisions, and top juniors in boys and girls divisions. Qualification is by invitation, extending to the top 12 male and top 10 female amateurs, as well as the top 10 juniors from the Order of Merit rankings. The championship awards double points toward the season-long Order of Merit, which determines the overall winners of the season and serves as a qualifier for the Dubai Golf Trophy. The event fosters competitive sportsmanship and provides exposure to UAE amateur golf talent.
