Description

The Edisto Island Invitational is a collegiate women's golf tournament hosted by the College of Charleston at The Plantation Course on Edisto Island, South Carolina. The event features 54 holes of stroke play conducted over three days with 18 holes each day. Typically, around 14 collegiate teams participate, mainly from NCAA Division I programs in the region. The format is stroke play with team and individual competitions, where teams field five players and count the best four scores each round. Participation is usually by invitation to regional and nationally ranked teams and individuals based on their performance and affiliation with conferences
